Carol Metzer Cobb
Carol Metzger Cobb was 34-years-old when she stepped into the Karate studio for the first time. Today, she is a 6th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and Master Instructor with more than 30 years of teaching experience. In 2013, she, along with her husband, Dave, were inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame as the first couple on record in the organization’s history to become members.
During her days of training, she learned of the numerous correlations between the art of “foot and fist” and spiritual warfare; and it was from this that she received her inspiration for the book, Showdown with the Power of Darkness. She considers her job as a Karate teacher an opportunity to share her love for Jesus Christ with her students as well as relate the good fight of faith with the art of Tae Kwon Do.
Mother of three and grandmother of eight, she is an accomplished author, poet, and musician. She resides with her husband in El Paso, Texas where she has lived her entire life
